Appstore team enables the customer and developer flywheel on devices by enabling developers to seamlessly launch and manage their apps/ in-app content on Amazon. It helps customers discover, buy and engage with these apps on Fire TV, Fire Tablets and mobile devices. The technologies we build on vary from device software, to high scale services, to efficient tools for developers. Brief on Work: As a QAE, you will craft and implement high quality test plans for simple, complex and ambiguous scenarios. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of technologies from front-end UI (both web and device) to back-end distributed web services to device software. You will have the opportunity to drive automation and process improvements for the team, and expand your influence by working across organizational boundaries, and delivering projects with high impact. We will help you grow your already awesome skills by finding inventive ways to solve seemingly impossible problems. We'll leverage our camaraderie and strong culture to break down walls to find solutions that challenge our original assumptions, make the tough decisions, and deliver a final product that's superior to the proposals we started with. Basic Qualifications: • 7+ year of experience working as a Quality Assurance Engineer • Experience in manual testing • Experience in automation testing • Bachelor's Degree • Strong knowledge of QA methodology and automation tools, with demonstrated QA experience in an SDET or QAE role. • Strong organizational skills, demonstrated ability to track multiple test executions simultaneously and synthesize results. • Creativity and initiative to improve test coverage, effectiveness and test process Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with Middleware\\Devices testing Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
