Program Manager, Inbound Transportation, Bellevue

Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) is building systems and capabilities to ensure that we deliver our customers' freight, no matter how large or small, as quickly, accurately, and cost effectively as possible. The ATS team is looking for a dynamic, self-starting Program Manager who will identify areas of performance improvement for our our Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA) and TheyPay inbound shipping programs. The successful candidate for this role will have a balanced set of business, technical, and operational skills, and be comfortable interfacing with partners and senior leaders in all three of those areas.

We are building and innovating at a fast pace in ATS, and we need people who are passionate about reinventing the transportation industry through technology and disruptive thinking.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage new and existing programs, successfully delivering difficult projects and goals across multiple organizations
• Work directly with external providers, customers, and partner teams to craft and deliver scalable solutions
• Partner with other program managers to secure resources, scope efforts, set project priorities and milestones and drive delivery
• Own program communication, accelerating progress by driving crisp and timely decisions, clearing blockers (e.g., path to green), escalating as appropriate
• Influence design and development of strategic processes
• Work with program managers and business leaders to communicate and impact critical business initiatives
• Develop, implement, and govern KPI reporting for a portfolio of programs, providing visibility to the milestones, and performance across all projects and using this data to drive/influence business decisions
• Engage other Amazon business units globally to share best practices and improve end to end outcomes for Amazon customers
• Manage post-launch support plans (e.g., post-mortem, issue/ticket management, etc.) and look for opportunities to improve program quality and operational excellence

Basic Qualifications:
• Completed Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Transportation Logistics, or equivalent education/experience
• 3+ years of experience in program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, transportation, or equivalent education/experience
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional programs
• Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and optimizing initiatives at scale
• Experience with data mining and data analysis
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with analytical tools such as SQL, Tableau or Microsoft Access

Preferred Qualifications:
• MBA/MS and work experience in dedicated project management highly desired
• Experience or use of PMP/Lean Six Sigma/Kaizen
• Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work in an ambiguous environment
• Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment when working in stressful situations
• Demonstrated problem-solving, mathematic, and analytical skills using data to drive decisions in a business environment
• Demonstrated experience and proficiency in effective communication of goals and strategies across multiple leadership levels of an organization
• Proven ability to influence internal/external stakeholders without authority to adopt new processes/initiatives
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• High attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple competing projects and priorities simultaneously
• Ability to think strategically and execute methodically
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired
• Analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases
• Ability to clearly communicate data insights to others
• Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary; general manager / owner mentality
• Demonstrated ability to dive deep in understanding the product, our business and the competitive landscape
